Humphris Park, also known as the South Jetty, is located at the northern end of the city. The jetty provides a great fishing area and boat access between the Gulf of Mexico and the Inter-coastal Waterway.
Venice Art Center: Dedicated to encouraging and stimulate the appreciation of art in the Venice area, this art center features many flexible display galleries displaying the works of local and regional artists. A wide range of classes are also available.

Venice Little Theatre: Are you in the mood for a night of entertainment and culture while visiting Venice? Venice Little Theatre, in downtown Venice, is a wonderfully rich experience for entertainment lovers of all ages. The Venice Little Theatre was transformed from the original Kentucky Military Institute to the Little Theatre in the 1950s and has come serve the greater Venice community as the largest per capita community theatre in the country. The building is located near the historic downtown shopping area, at 140 W. Tampa Ave. and is filled with beautiful reminders of the rich history of Venice.
There are two different theatre areas, one known as the Main Stage and the other as Stage II. Both theatre areas are small in size, with the Main Stage holding only 432 audience members and Stage II equipped with 90 seats. This makes for an intimate, close-up theatre experience that you won't forget soon.
Venetian Waterway Park: Currently under construction, this linear park is located along the east bank of the Intracoastal Waterway and will ultimately form nearly ten miles of trails along both sides of the waterway for visitors to enjoy hiking, jogging, biking, and rollerblading around the City of Venice.

Golfing: Golfing is great in Venice, Florida! There are a large variety of courses, public and semi-private as well as wonderful golfing communities.
Fishing: Fishing enthusiasts can find plenty of enjoyment in Venice. Residents can fish from the beach, piers, or local charter boats. The Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota Bay, Little Sarasota Bay, and the Inter-coastal Waterway offer excellent marine fishing. A wealth of lakes and tributaries and the Myakka River provide endless possibilities for fresh water fishing. Venice Municipal Fishing Pier, located adjacent to Sharky's Restaurant on Harbor Drive, has a bait shop, terrific views of the sunset and is a favorite spot for fishing.
