There is approximately 1800 homes in the original Gulf Harbors community where construction began in the early 1960's. Later neighboring communities started to pop-up around the Gulf Harbors area. The vacation rentals comprise of 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms. It is an unincorporated urban community in western Pasco County, Florida, United States, near New Port Richey. According to Rand McNally, the latest population estimates for the community is approximately 5,000. Gulf Harbors and its sister communities, the Woodlands, Sea Forest, Sea Colony, Egrets Place and Harbor Colony are deed restricted, waterfront communities and cater to boating and fishing enthusiasts.
Gulf Harbors is a waterfront community in New Port Richey on Florida's sunny gulf coast.
